dcoy · the anti-surveillance platform

The only privacy platform
that proves it's working.

Three tiers. Every device. One score that shows exactly how much ground you've taken back, every month.

dcoy works differently than a VPN. Rather than hiding your IP, it corrupts the profile surveillance companies build on you, making it commercially worthless. Need both? dcoy and a VPN complement each other. Encrypted VPN connection is coming in the Blackout tier.

How dcoy compares
VPN
Hides your IP. Does not touch your ad identity, broker profiles, or fingerprint.
Ad blocker
Blocks some trackers in browser only. Does nothing to existing data broker profiles.
Private browser
Clears local history. Surveillance companies still have everything they already collected.
dcoy
Corrupts the profile they already built. Scrambles who they think you are. Proves it monthly with a score.
Questions
Is dcoy a VPN?
No. dcoy does not encrypt your connection or hide your IP address. It corrupts your advertising and data broker profile so that what surveillance companies know about you is wrong. A VPN is a separate tool. An encrypted VPN connection is planned for the Blackout tier.
What is the Profile Blur Score?
A monthly 0 to 100 index that measures how damaged your surveillance profile actually is. Every component is independently verifiable with free public tools. The score tells you what changed and what's still left to do.
When does protection start?
The moment you install. Tracker blocking starts immediately on any device with the Chrome extension installed. Mobile coverage activates when you install the dcoy app on Android (available via Play Store) or iOS (coming). Broker opt-out submissions begin within 24 hours. Browser fingerprint noise injection runs on every page load on Chrome, with three of four sub-surfaces verified against EFF Cover Your Tracks weighting (5.1 of 6 points proven; canvas hash sub-surface under investigation). Your first PBS audit runs at 90 days to give the protection time to show measurable results.
When is Blackout available?
Blackout is on the active roadmap but does not have a confirmed launch date or final pricing. The encrypted VPN connection and behavioral noise at scale are the two largest outstanding components. Sign up for Personal or Ghost now and you'll be notified when Blackout opens.
Can I cancel at any time?
Yes. No contracts, no cancellation fees. Cancel any time from your dashboard.
